Research fees are £15 per hour. Overseas clients can either pay by Banker’s Draft in £Sterling or with a bank cheque in local currency. Please be aware that foreign currency cheques will incur a bank fee, which is automatically deducted from the total realised. Payments should be made to LIZ CARTER.

A deposit of £50 is normally requested in advance. Most clients decide how much they wish to spend and then budget the payments, topping up their research account from time to time as required.

An itemised statement is sent regularly to keep the client up-to-date with finances and the researches can be individually tailored to suit each client's resources. Many of my clients work on a monthly/quarterly payment basis.

Certificates

Official copies of civil registration certificates are charged at £7.00 each plus search time.

Family trees constructed from your notes or sketches – ask for a quote. The cost will necessarily include time spent transferring your information onto computer and producing a draft copy for you to check.

Photographs and Photocopies

Photographs are charged at £1 each with a minimum fee of £6 . Prices for larger size prints upon request. These can be supplied on CD ROM or as prints. Military graves overseas £50 per commission.

 

Photocopies of original documents, such as wills and parish registers are charged at cost - usually around 50p per copy page.

Travelling Expenses
